Paltinis was the first mountain resort established in the Carpathians Mountains and is located at an altitude of 1442m. The historic part of our hotel dates back to 1898. It has been extended several times, during the last decades and went through a very extensive high quality renovation in 2012. The hotel was acquired by a new owner in April 2013 and is managed since then by Aducco Management. Today the Aducco Hohe Rinne wants to bring back the good old times where our guests can enjoy special moments. Enjoying a peaceful location in the historical centre of Paltinis, the second highest mountain resort in Romania, the Alpine-style Hohe Rinne Paltinis Hotel & Spa offers free access to a spa fitted with an indoor pool, a hot tub, saunas, salt cave, and a fitness room. Free WiFi is also available. The building dates back to 1894 and has been completely renovated in 2012. Rooms and suites at the Hohe Rinne Paltinis are modern and comfortable, each equipped with a minibar, cable and satellite TV and a private bathroom. The in-house Restaurant Conradt and Gutt Café have a rustic ambiance with stone walls and wooden furniture, and serves both Romanian and international cuisine, while children can enjoy the modern Kids Club. Mountain bikes for all ages are available for rent, while the hotel is the starting point of many hiking trails in the surrounding mountains. Hohe Rinne Paltinis is set 200 metres from the main chair lift, 3 km from Arena Platos ski slopes, 8 km from Arka Adventure Park, and offers free transfer to all these locations. The city of Sibiu is 30 km away. On request, the hotel staff can assist with hiking and ski information, or pack a freshly made lunch for daytime excursions. If guests require the invoice for their stay to be issued for a different natural or legal person, please mention this in the Special Request box when booking.
